Some thing old, something new. It has been exciting to be back to London coffee festival and met several entrepreneurs.
There are a few new trends I would definitely like to share.
CBD One Shot
This is the one kind of stuff I would normally stay away. However, the funder of CBD One Shot was so convince in showing me how CBD can help my mind to have a good balance between active and calm. Apparently all you need is a pump of one shot in a drink to keep you feel good. Its going to be sold in some coffee shops as a good add on sales with one pound per shot.
Lomitas Green Coffee
A female entrepreneur from Colombia and wants to show the benefit of drinking un-roasted coffee beans.
Chlorogenic acid and caffeine are both responsible for the healthy food status of green coffee.
Chlorogenic acid is an antioxidant know to be found more in the green coffee (6% to 7%) compared to the roasted variety. It rapidly absorbed and metabolised the body to helps improve blood d circulations.
To me it drinks like herb tea.
A smart design of non-split coffee cup using a patterned magnet led. It comes with different colours and definitely recommended for office workers like me.
A coffee espresso enthusiastic from Italy. After fixing many broken coffee machine, the man decided to create his own machine with parts from Germany. In the exhibition, new dealer in UK has been found and hope these espresso machines will be sold in UK soon.
Guatemala Golden Palencia Rio Colorado plantation SHB (washed)
The other day I was trying to roast Guatemala Golden Palencia Rio Colorado plantation SHB (washed).
Initially I did it a bit light and the sour taste was not pleasant at all.
Then I tried to go further 7 degrees for ending the roasting profile.
It was amazing that the sour taste was gone and the coffee taste much better.
If you have similar experience feel free to commit and advise me more!
